iPod/iPhones, when will they lose the HD?
I think iPod and iPhones will always have a HD but I have to wonder when they will lose the need to have large Hard Drives. As high speed cell networks take over the world all music could be streamed.
With iTunes' new home sharing you could easily share your library with an iPhone. When Apple decides to enable that is another question.
It does look like Apple is wants to be a major player as a video game platform though so that could make the need for high storage capacity permanent.
Things like caching will help conserve battery life but maybe your phone could cache the most played items when it's plugged in.
What if Apple decided to tax music apps that come through the iPhone?
